Research Assistant at CUNY Urban Food Policy Institute

  • Conducted literature reviews on food access initiatives in New York City

  • Assisted in the design and implementation of Mandarin and Cantonese surveys administered to NYC-based seniors.

  • Helped recruit participants for the surveys and focus groups, including identifying potential locations and organizations for recruitment.

  • Conducted data entry and management for survey responses and assisted in data analysis and preparation of results for the summary report.

Sustainability Associate and Barista at The Meantime Coffee Co.

  • Established and maintain a reusable mug system to reduce single-use plastic waste

  • Increased reusable mug usage by 163% after implementing BYOM punch cards

  • Diverted 4,512lbs of coffee grounds from landfills by working with CompostNow

  • Organized and attended Disability Allyship Training to improve cafe accessibility
